Saratoga/Adirondack Region

 Saratoga Springs is a city in New York State. A hub for thoroughbred horse racing, it’s home to the Saratoga Race Course. The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame displays horse paintings and trophies. Saratoga Spa State Park includes mineral baths, a pool complex and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, a landmark concert venue. Lake George is a town in New York’s vast, protected Adirondack region of mountains and old-growth forest. The town sits on the lake of the same name. On the shore, the Fort William Henry Museum & Restoration is a restored British fort, built in 1755. Nearby, Million Dollar Beach has picnic areas and a boat launch. Lake Placid is a village near the lake of the same name, in New York State’s Adirondack Mountains. It's known as a Winter Olympics venue and a hub for snow sports and other outdoor pursuits. In the center of town, Mirror Lake has a trail around the shoreline. The Lake Placid Olympic Museum exhibits artifacts including team uniforms and medals.
